OVERSEEDING

Overseeding is exactly what it sounds like: more seed is applied to the turf. It is typically performed on lawns that are less dense or thin in turf coverage. To be effective, overseeding must be complete after aeration. Its effects are minimized if aeration is not performed prior. In combination with a quality turf application program, overseeding is a great step towards transforming a thin lawn into dense thick turf.
